The Boring Week That Needed to Happen

Okay so this week was less drawing and more boring important stuff that needed to happen.

I finally finished the welcome video and got it up as the channel trailer. If you've been to the page recently you've seen it. If you haven't, go look at it and then come back.

Spent a lot of time on the SEO side of things — got justinweinmann.com pointing to historyillustrated.com, cleaned up my LinkedIn because apparently it still said things like "I thrive in collaborative environments" which is not something I have ever said out loud in my life, set up a Google Business Profile, the whole thing. Tedious but done.

Also started this. The Sketchbook. The idea is I drop new drawings here every week so there's an actual place on the internet where my work lives outside of the videos. This week's batch: an angry businessman, a panicking Dutch tulip merchant, a poor beggar, whatever that box thing is, and two Dutch merchants shaking hands on what was probably a very bad deal.

More drawings next week. August is coming fast.
